Role - Design and project engineering of renewable power projects (wind/solar)
Educational Qualification - Graduate in Electrical Engineering
Prior Experience - Minimum 2 years of design experience in wind/solar PV
Responsibilities
-
Solar/wind resource assessment and energy yield assessment
-
Designing of medium (5+MW) to large-scale RE projects
-
Design and review of detailed engineering documents and drawings, including layouts and schematics – array layouts, equipment plans, electrical line diagrams and routing plans for array interconnection, technology selection, system configuration, grid interconnection
-
Preparation of detailed BOQ, technical specifications, component datasheets, evaluation of vendor/ equipment
-
Assessment of cost estimated and assessment of commercial risk factors

Prepare/Review of RFQ’s, pre-bid support

Vendor evaluation

On-site quality assurance

Factory inspection and dispatch clearance
Must have -

In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and codes like IEC and IS

Responsibilities - Prepare schematic diagrams, SLD, and general arrangement, power and grounding layouts, trenching / tray layouts, cable schedules, electrical interconnection drawings for solar power plants in AutoCAD under the guidance of engineers

Responsibilities

Performing grid code compliance studies (steady-state, power quality) for integration of renewables with grid.

Data collection, validation and modelling of electrical networks in power system simulation tools like ETAP

Design and engineering of MV/HV (132, 220, 400kV) power evacuation systems including pooling substations and transmission line

Preparation and/or evaluation of technical specifications, techno-commercial offers

Evaluate interconnection standards and transmission feasibility

Protective device coordination, short circuit analysis, arc flash, load flows, ground evaluation, harmonic analysis, and power quality analysis
Must have -

Must be familiar with high voltage power systems including safety practices and design
